When I’m not photographing weddings, I will probably be on the other side of the world in some rural, poverty stricken location, photographing on behalf of charities who work in those places. This work has taken me to many countries around the world, to Malawi, DR Congo, Zambia, India, Bolivia, Philippines, Haiti and many more.
I have a deep compassion for people and strive to use my photography to help those less fortunate than me. It can be heartbreaking to sit with a family in Zambia who has to decide which of them will eat that day; to listen to children crying from hunger. And yet, those organisations I work with are working tirelessly to abolish poverty and end suffering. My photography is used by them to show donors how their giving is impacting and changing lives for the better.
